The second aspect of the crown I shall call shard as well. During my research I was able to determine this peculiar shard was indeed imbued with the aspect of Time. Perhaps like the shard of Dreams is crafted from the very material of the Plane of Time. At first I believed the shard to be a manifestation of the very fabric of Time. But clues led me to understand that the weave of time is actually manifest in a type of existence all its own. Hence a plane of Time. Similar to what we might think of as the Astral or Ethereal planes…

…The Shard is most powerful and has the capabilities to break the flow of time, allowing the flow of time to move around you and then allowing to attach oneself to any aspect of it. One maybe able to move “forward into time” or to move back in time. To what extent I am not sure. Powerful enough on its own but imagine if merged with the shard of Dreams what the capabilities would be… I dare not experiment with this shard for I have learned that its power for mortals comes at a steep price. Perhaps those beings that are beyond our own world have a type of immunity to this effect. I would speculate that is perhaps how Adimarcus was able to manipulate them with out detrimental effects to itself. Though seeing the extent of the madness of that being one must wonder that perhaps the Crown took its toll on him as well…

…After much debate we were at a loss of how to place this shard in stasis out of the reaches of those that would have imaginative uses for it. At last in our travels we came upon a Chonomancer of much reputation by the name of Sarcem. Entrusting him with the item Sarcem was able to transport it to the very plane of time from which he suggested the shard was part of. Though we did with hold the exact nature of the shard he understood the importance of this. Divinations did confirm that the shard was being watch over by those that would not try to activate its power…

During our many days discoursing with Sarcem the suggestion of possible destruction did come up about the shards. Would it not be safer to have them destroyed then to keep them laying around? It was thought. My research and Jenya’s guidance through her church proved that such an attempt though possible would prove to have unpredictable consequences. Imagine, that being so mad as Adimarcus brought together the power of the very multiverse to yield at his command a power thats very existence may have devastating consequences to its being. One shudders at this.
