….of the third shard in the series. I deemed the shard of Souls. Its presence is the most disconcerting. I often keep it covered within an adamantine case. It draws you in and sometime it almost seems to speak to you. I experimented little with this shard. Most of the knowledge I gleaned was with Jenya’s assistance through numerous divination sessions. Bless her she is patient. From what I can discern this shard has the power to bind ones soul to your own. To bring about complete and total domination. But the binding as would be assumed brings consequences as some type of exchange of energy takes place. Ones mind is never trylu their own. I ponder that for a creature as mad as Adimarcus that this was never a problem. For mere mortals this might drive one to depths of madness itself…

..I was quick to discover how we could safely be rid of this shard. Jenya suggested that perhaps the Church of Pharasma could assist with this and so we journeyed to meet with Ebryl High Priestess of Pharasma in Cauldron. Ebryl was more than pleased to see us again. Cauldron had blossomed after the devastation it saw. It was a happy occasion for me indeed. Ebryl informed us that the Church had specific agents that were able to move freely into the Astral plane. The realm of Pharasma their patron Goddess. Ebryl felt that for the corruption the shard could yield perhaps a place were minds and bodies don’t have much substance or credence would be the safest place to keep the shard. With her assurance the shard would be guarded by one of Pharasmas chosen we were set at ease and within a few days bid Ebryl a farewell.
