A mysterious illness of the Shadowfell. Plague shadow can be transmitted by being in close proximity to the shadow fell. It is believed that the a species of plant that blooms in near the shadow fell known as the black lotus may be a carrier of plague shadow. Plague shadow is considered a supernatural disease. Even those immune to magical disease are susceptible to it. The recipient falls into a fugue. Unable to move. Their complexion turns shadowy and drains of color. If contracted by proximity the disease takes 3 days to incubate fully. If a recipient dies of the disease there is a 90% chance they will raise as undead. Usually a shadow.

If contracted through direct contact with Black lotus or creature it works much faster.
